Setting

Device supports two independent display brightness modes with manual adjustment for each mode separately.

ILL control input

For automatic brightness switching ILL input is provided:

  • When +12 V applied to ILL input — H mode activated (high brightness)

  • When power removed from ILL input — L mode activated (low brightness)

Note

ILL input is recommended to be connected to vehicle side lights circuit.

Button control

One control button is provided on the device:

Short press

Temporary brightness switch between L and H modes. Active until next ILL input state change or device restart.

Long press (> 900 ms)

Enter brightness settings menu. Dot appears on display and current selected mode is shown.

Brightness configuration

  1. Press and hold the button for more than 900 ms until dot appears on display.

  2. Display will show L or H — currently selected mode for adjustment.

  3. Short presses set desired brightness level from 0 to 15.

  4. Long press switches between L and H mode configuration.

  5. Do not press the button for 8 seconds — settings will be automatically saved to device memory.

Note

Brightness settings are saved independently for each mode and are not reset when power is disconnected.
